In July of 2017, Rose, my beautiful niece, was born. A little blonde cherub, she arrived with a rare condition that severely limits her vision. At that time, I was well into a career in wine - as a sommelier, then brokering the world’s most elite bottles to collectors around the globe. In the following months, I felt called to do something more.
I also noticed that my lifestyle was changing. As my husband and I started a family, I still enjoyed drinking quality wine, but no more than a glass or two over the course of an evening. I desired a new format that suited my habits as well as my tastes.
Almost four years later, Mini Vacay wine in a can is here. Although Rose’s vision is impaired, she is in lockstep with her peers, thanks to tailored educational programs that help her reach her best. And my husband and I happily exhaust our days chasing after our son and German Shepherd, grateful to enjoy a delicious can of wine together amidst the chaos and giggles.
Mini Vacay donates 10% of profits to educational programs that support children with special needs. With each release, we plan to do more. A quality wine in a can, with big goals.
